Operating globally, ISCS SA is headquartered in Lugano, Switzerland with an operative office in the Carrara, Italy area, the world’s historic center for quarrying, processing and trading natural stone.
The specification and acquisition of natural stone products for exteriors and interiors of large projects is a complex process that involves many parties, large financial commitments and long durations. The founding principals of the company identified a need that they were uniquely qualified to satisfy the independent inspection of the work of quarriers and fabricators, to meet architects’ aesthetic demands and contractors’ practical need for materials properly fabricated and delivered on time. ISCS SA has been providing value-added inspection services to clients all over the world for forty years.
Our stone consulting services including stone selection, design imperatives, sourcing, plan review, shop drawings review, production planning, production ticket review, material inspection, quality control, and shipment expediting. Our company has provided some or all of these services to architects and contractors on large and prominent projects in the United States, Australia, China, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
The integrity of our company services is based on our strict policy of zero conflict of interest. At our company, the principal and associates have no commercial business relationship with the suppliers selected by our clients, in Italy or elsewhere, including stone quarries, factories or stone sales organisations. We do not act as stone brokers or representatives of any suppliers or trade organisations. We are engaged by owners, architects, contractors and governments to provide independent, personalised, and responsive services in our sector.
